Iraqi soldiers trained with members of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, at Camp Taji, Iraq. The 3rd Bde., 82nd Abn. Div., was deployed to Iraq as part of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve to advise and assist Iraqi Security Forces in their fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. Iraqi soldiers learned tactics and techniques from U.S. Soldiers during a six-week basic training course, and more complicated tactics during a three-week advanced training course.
